LOBOC RIVER RESORT

Part of my work is to bring you more exciting places and more new resorts in Bohol that will amaze you! My featured resort for today comes from  the Municipality of Loboc  - the LOBOC RIVER RESORT! 

Loboc is known for its scenic and winding Loay-Loboc River with lively floating restaurants drifting about.  Attractions also include: a four century old church, the famous unfinished bridge built during Marcos’ regime, the “Krus Dako” big cross on top of the mountain, and a lot more. Latest opened attractions are the cable car and zipline that traverse a distance of 420 meters and assures tourists of the best scenery at a height of between 100 to 120 meters over the river. Loboc is home to the very famous tarsier. The tarsier sanctuary is located at the town of Loboc. WELCOME TO LOBOC RIVER RESORT!

As I entered the resort, I was  impressed  with their wooden bridge going to the rooms and restaurant facing the river. The scene was so relaxing!

September 12, 2012 was their First Anniversary and I was glad to have an opportunity to greetthem and join in the eating session they treated their guests with. lol.The food were truly yummy and delicious....hhehe.. While eating, Sir Allen, the manager,  gave me some interesting facts about the hotel and the different amenities and new packages. He told me that Loboc River Resort was featured by Mabuhay Magazine. That was interesting! I must read it soon. After dinner, he also gave me a free tour around the place to show me what the place was all about.

This area is a sanctuary of wild birds and other animals...this area is reserved under construction for many amenities to offer.,  like  fishing, carabao riding and many more! 

 

During my visit its Low tide! that's why i cant see small fish entering from this area! too bad!

They also offer optional cctivities like Firefly Watching (3 minutes from the resort river and sometimes at the resort trees at night),Trekking (10 hectares path land area of resort), Chicken Feeding, Native banca rentals (first come, first served basis, Kayak Rentals,Bike and Motorbike Rentals, Countryside experience with nipa-weaving demonstration (by appointment) and Stargazing...

Indeed,this resort really perfect for guests who like mountains and rivers and who like to stay away from the crowded places. The place is for people who prefer silent and relaxing atmosphere at the center of a forest and along the majestic loboc river. It was a great privilege and experience for me as a travel agent to meet and greet the owner, the manager and the staff of Loboc River Resort during their first anniversary! Again Congratulations! I'm left the place with a Big Smile of which I'm sure their incoming guests will also have the same impression as mine.
